This industrial-grade USB Type-C female connector socket is engineered for robust and permanent installation in panels, chassis, and enclosures. The assembly combines a standard USB-C port with a high-quality, strain-relieved overmolded cable, culminating in a secure M11 bulkhead threaded nut for professional panel mounting. This threaded design allows for versatile installation as a chassis mount or a clean flush mount, ensuring a rock-solid mechanical connection that resists vibration and pull-out forces in demanding applications.
The product offers extensive customization to meet exact project needs. The cable is available in three wire gauges—22AWG, 24AWG, or 26AWG—with lengths customizable from 50mm to 1500mm. Four core USB pinout configurations provide functional flexibility: a basic 2-wire (Vbus, GND) for power-only delivery; a standard 4-wire (Vbus, GND, D+, D-) for USB 2.0 data and power; and two advanced 6-wire options. Option 3 includes the CC1 and CC2 pins for USB-PD communication, while Option 4 incorporates SUB1 and SUB2 pins for Alternate Mode support (e.g., Audio or Debug).
Further specialized customization is available. To enable full USB Power Delivery (PD) functionality, we can integrate two 5.1kΩ pull-down resistors on the CC lines. Alternatively, for dedicated Apple device charging (iPhone 15/16/17) at 5V/1A, we can install two 56kΩ pull-up resistors. The cable’s free end can be customized to your specification, terminated with options such as bare tinned wires, industry-standard crimp connectors (e.g., Dupont, JST), or a finished USB Type-C male plug for a complete cable assembly.
