This robust overmolded cable mount USB-C female connector is engineered for secure, permanent installation in panels and enclosures. The assembly features a durable, strain-relieved cable integrated with a USB Type-C socket, designed for a professional screw-lock panel mount. This secure mounting method provides excellent mechanical stability, making it ideal for applications subject to vibration, frequent insertion cycles, or where a reliable, tamper-resistant connection is essential.

The product is highly customizable to suit diverse project requirements. You can select from three standard wire gauges—22AWG, 24AWG, or 26AWG—with cable lengths available from a short 50mm up to 1500mm. Two primary USB configurations are offered: a 2-wire option (Vbus, GND) for power-only applications and a standard 4-wire option (Vbus, GND, D+, D-) for USB 2.0 data transfer and charging.

For advanced charging functionality, we offer specialized customization. The assembly can be equipped with two 5.1kΩ pull-down resistors on the CC lines to enable USB Power Delivery (PD) protocol negotiation. Alternatively, to ensure optimized charging compatibility with Apple iPhone 15/16/17 models at approximately 5V/1A, it can be built with two 56kΩ pull-up resistors.

Furthermore, the opposite end of the cable can be finished to your specifications. Termination options include stripped and tinned wire leads, industry-standard crimp connectors (such as Dupont or JST types), or a fully assembled USB Type-C male plug.
